KENDA Europe Specialty is advancing its growth strategy in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) by enhancing its aftermarket distribution capabilities. The move supports the company’s broader ambition to consolidate its European presence under the "One KENDA" brand, first outlined at The Tire Cologne 2024. Strengthening local support is a key part of KENDA’s 2025 vision to make its specialty product portfolio more accessible across key European markets.
From June 2025, KENDA Europe Specialty will stock products such as trailer, turf, small industrial, agricultural, ATV, UTV, and forklift tyres at its operations hub in Winsen, Germany, near Hamburg. This strategic shift aims to improve product availability, ensure more reliable supply to regional distributors, and better address market gaps across the DACH region.
Christian de Wit, Sales Director of KENDA Europe Specialty, commented that the initiative is a "natural and strategic development" designed to foster closer partnerships with distributors by improving accessibility and support.
The decision reflects KENDA’s commitment to providing a stronger regional presence that goes beyond logistics to enable long-term, mutual growth with distribution partners.
Over the next year, KENDA GmbH will evolve into a central European warehouse for the company’s Specialty segment. While initially serving the DACH market, the warehouse is set to gradually expand service to other European distribution partners.
In addition to Specialty tyres, the facility will stock KENDA Bicycle products, supporting the company's ongoing expansion within the cycling segment. Powersports product lines are also being considered for future inclusion, broadening the warehouse's role in KENDA's European growth strategy.
Further announcements detailing the next phase of the initiative are expected as the June launch date approaches.
KENDA’s move highlights a broader trend in the tyre sector: manufacturers are reinforcing regional distribution infrastructures to respond to changing customer expectations for supply reliability and aftermarket support. As specialty applications, from agricultural equipment to electric ATVs, diversify, tyre suppliers must deliver faster, more localised service to maintain competitiveness.
